RaéVen Larrymore Kelly (A Preacher’s Kid, What’s Love Got to do With It?, A Time to Kill and Hannah Montana) is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association and winner of the 2009 NAACP Theatre Award for Best Female Lead. RaéVen has had the fortune of performing in a wide range of high quality projects for film and television: John Grisham’s “A Time to Kill,” as “Tonya Hailey” with Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock, Tonea Stewart and Matthew McConaughey, director Joel Schumacher; “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” as “Young Tina Turner” with Laurence Fishburne, Angela Bassett, director Brian Gibson; “Ghosts of Mississippi” as “Young Rena Evers” with Whoopi Goldberg, James Woods, Alec Baldwin, director Rob Reiner; and “How to Make an American Quilt” as “Young Anna,” a role shared with Maya Angelou’s character, also starring Wynona Rider, Ann Bancroft, director Jocelyn Moorehouse; “Blossoms and Veils” as “Em,” producers Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, director Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy); “Tournament of Dreams” as “Slick,” also starring Debbie Allen, Carl Lewis, and Tony Todd, director Don Abernathy. RaéVen’s latest film is the new feature length motion picture Nocturnal Agony where she delivers an amazing performance as “Bay Bay”. The highly anticipated “faith-based” drama is directed by award winning independent filmmaker Shuaib Mitchell (Too Saved, Straight Up Go-Go) and also stars Vernée Watson (Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Antwone Fisher, Southland) and Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs (A Preacher’s Kid, The Jacksons, Cooley High, Welcome Back Kotter). A UCLA graduate with honors, in African-American Studies, Film & Television and Pre-Law, Mrs. Larrymore Kelly also holds an additional degree in Dance.
